Heidi Klum born Bergisch Gladbach Germany 1st June 1973. Erna Klum was her mother. Gunther Klim his father was executive of a cosmetics firm. Heidi's father worked as Director of Production for the company 4711. She grew up in her hometown in Bergisch Gladbach a city of about 100,000 residents only six miles to the east of Cologne. Former fashion model from Germany is currently a host on television and producer, fashion designer, business woman as well as an actress. She lives and works in both southern California and Germany. The show, supported by German Women's Magazine Petra was part of the late-night talk show hosted by Thomas Gottschalk. Klum had to compete against thousands of other contestants across Germany as well as Europe to make it to the semi-finals. In April of 1992, she was awarded the biggest prize in modeling, $300,000.
