Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a native of Canada and is well-known among Canadians due to her work as an Canadian actress on the Freeform fantasy television show Shadowhunters. Also, she appeared in Venevision television series Cosita linda and Voltea and a'que te is enthralled. Emeraude is also a talented dancer and model. Her birthplace was in Montreal and raised in Texas. Her entire life she has had a passion for performance. Since her early years she's been studied a variety of dance styles. At the age of 15 was when she began competing in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame after in 2008, she appeared as competing in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty pageant. She made her acting debut in 2010, portraying receptionist in an episode of Telemundo's TV show Aurora. Toubia was in the 2015 action thriller Tattooed Love, her debut film. Toubia is known in recognition of her Shadowhunters performance, received nominations from Teen Choice Awards 2017-2018 for Choice TV Actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
